Kathleen Carroll also noted in the Tuesday blog post that the AP prefers to label 'behavior' rather than 'people,' writing that instead of using the term 'schizophrenic,' the AP now prefers saying that one is 'diagnosed with schizophrenia.'"

Call it what you will, those people are immigrants who are here illegally and the key word is illegal. That is the word the AP is trying to avoid. The AP says they want to label behavior not people, but the truth is they don't want to talk about the immigration laws that are being violated.
