FBI quietly forms secretive Internet surveillance unit

We read:
"CNET has learned that the FBI has formed a Domestic Communications Assistance Center, which is tasked with developing new electronic surveillance technologies, including intercepting Internet, wireless, and VoIP communications. ...

The establishment of the Quantico, Va.-based unit, which is also staffed by agents from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Drug Enforcement Agency, is a response to technological developments that FBI officials believe outpace law enforcement's ability to listen in on private communications."

  6. Birds, I don’t even have to guess to know which one. Our dear leader has already sided with OWS.

Violence galore but none at TP events so obviously TP are more dangerous.

BoP, your mind has rotted away. You are a joke here. Even your right wing buddies distance themselves from you. As George Will said, "You are a bloviating ignoramus "

  12. The American- If you are going to link to a pro-Obama website (not that there is anything wrong with doing so), you might try finding one that actually exists.

No matter what the gov't comes up with, they will always be behind our trusty tech-geeks. Granted, the geeks can be of the obnoxious, black-hat variety who cause much trouble, but most of the ones I have come across are fairly nice folks who will only cause mischief when crossed. Trying to spy on them would certainly be one of the ways to cross them! I am confident that the geeks will outwit the feds- every time!
