This is one of those things where the law is so badly written that it makes for a horrible outcome.
ReplyDeleteThe law prohibits flags and signs within a certain distance of the highway. To keep it "content neutral," the US flag was included in the "flags" restriction.
The legislature is now carving out a "memorial" exception to the restriction.
